Guests can unwind with a drink at one of the hotel's bars, which include a bar/lounge and a poolside bar. Dining is available at one of the hotel's 3 restaurants and guests can grab coffee at the coffee shop/café. The Stonewall Resort needs a classy upscale restaurant, and this is not it! I hope they reconsider and change back to the steakhouse they were before. In addition to a full-service spa, Stonewall Resort features a golf course and a marina. It's a shame that Lightburn's has changed their menu. Our waitress was kind, but very uninformed about the menu, and couldn't answer our questions, even after going into the kitchen to get clarification. It wasn't bad, but there was absolutely not a vodka cream sauce on this dish.

We did get bread much later in the meal, which was odd.įor dinner, my husband had a cheeseburger, which was fine, and I had a pasta dish that was supposed to be smoked salmon and a vodka cream sauce. My husband had potato soup, which was good, but no bread or crackers were offered. Way too much batter and no taste from the tomatoes. I had the beet salad, which was good, but the fried green tomatoes were terrible. Instead, there is a very limited menu of appetizers, hamburgers, hot dogs, and pasta dishes. There is no option of a buffet at Lightburns. Every time it was opened, we were blasted with hot air. We were also seated next to a door that led to the outside. We asked for a table next to a window and were told that there were none, yet a table right next to ours, by a window, remained unoccupied the entire time we were there. The restaurant is beautiful and has amazing views. I had looked at the online menu and called for a reservation just that week and the menu had not indicated the change-nor had the person I had spoken to at the restaurant mentioned it. I asked when this happened, and he told us it was last Tuesday (June 25). us if we were aware that they had changed their menu. As we were waiting for the shuttle at the resort to take us to Lightburn's, an employee asked. After checking out the reviews and looking at the menu online, we couldn't wait to try Lightburn's. We visited the Stonewall Resort this weekend for our anniversary. but the service in the restaurants this time was very disappointing. We do come to Stonewall every year for a getaway, and do like the atmosphere, pool, recreation. Would definitely NOT visit this restaurant again. After waiting so long for just ok food, we were all very tired and it put a damper on our birthday celebration. Our waiter Marcus, however, was very pleasant and made the experience more bearable. We were in the restaurant for a total of 2 hrs and 20 minutes, which is inexcusable for that type of place.
LIGHTBURN RESTAURANT RANOAKE MAC
The mac and cheese was delicious, potato soup good, burger ok, nachos ok, my sister ordered a well done steak and had to send it back, it was totally burnt to a crisp and not edible. The menu is just ok, with having a couple "fine ding" choices along with the loaded hot dog choices and bologna and egg sandwiches. Came up the hill because our experience at Stillwaters and TJ Muskies for lunch was also very slow (waited 30 minutes for 1 order of pork belly fries), so we figured we would give. We visited this restaurant to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday party. Restaurants near Lightburn's Restaurant at the Stonewall Resort.
